๐Ÿคน About Keep It Up

Ball juggling, or "keepy-uppy," doesn't have a founder or a patent โ€” it grew up organically wherever kids had a ball and open pavement, most famously in Brazil's futebol de rua ("street football"), which is widely credited with shaping the close-control style Brazilian players later brought to the world stage. Keep It Up on RivalPit is built around that same idea, minus the patch of pavement: slide side to side to stay under the ball.

How to Play

  1. Move your mouse or finger left and right to position yourself under the falling ball.
  2. Slide under it in time to keep it bouncing off your foot instead of hitting the ground.
  3. Stay centered under the ball rather than over-correcting side to side.
  4. Chain together as many consecutive touches as you can before the ball drops โ€” that streak is your score.

Small, early adjustments to slide under the ball beat a last-second dash โ€” waiting too long to move is what causes most drops.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you actually control the ball in Keep It Up?

You move your mouse or finger left and right to slide your player under the ball as it falls, rather than tapping to time a kick โ€” positioning is everything.

Is Keep It Up a scoring game or an endurance challenge?

It's endurance-based: your score is the number of consecutive touches you string together before the ball touches the ground.

Can I challenge a friend at Keep It Up?

Yes, you can go for the higher streak in a real-time challenge against a friend, or just try to beat your own personal best solo.
