InkFlow

About InkFlow

InkFlow is a one-line puzzle game on RivalPit. Every board is a grid of empty squares with a handful of numbered checkpoints scattered across it. Draw a single unbroken line that starts at checkpoint 1, passes through every remaining checkpoint in order, and fills every square on the board exactly once. There's no time pressure and no penalty for backtracking -- tap or drag back along your own line to undo a move and try a different route.

How to Play InkFlow

Tap a starting square next to checkpoint 1, then drag across adjacent squares to draw your line. The line can move up, down, left, or right, but it can't cross itself or skip a square. Work through the checkpoints in numerical order -- 1, then 2, then 3, and so on -- while making sure your path eventually covers the whole grid. Boards start small and grow larger and more intricate as you clear levels, so early puzzles are a good place to get a feel for planning a route before you commit to it.

Tips for InkFlow

Look at the corners and edges of the board first -- squares with only one or two neighbors are the easiest to get trapped in, so route your line through them early rather than saving them for last. If you get stuck, undo a few moves rather than restarting the whole board; often the issue is just one wrong turn a few squares back.

InkFlow FAQ

What's a good strategy for tricky InkFlow boards? Route your line through corners and edges first -- squares with only one or two neighbors are the easiest to get trapped in, so cover them early rather than saving them for last.

Does InkFlow have an ending? Levels are randomly generated and get progressively larger, so you can keep playing as long as you'd like.

Can I replay a level? Yes -- use the undo controls to retry a board from any point without losing your progress on earlier checkpoints.
