Real Battle is RivalPit's fast 2D jetpack arena shooter -- fly, frag, and outplay rivals across six hand-drawn arenas: Jungle Ruins, Volcano Forge, Skyline Facility, Desert Outpost, Frost Summit, and Wreck Bay. Play solo against AI bots on four difficulty settings, or jump into real online matches against other players.
Every fighter drops in with 100 HP, up to 100 armor, and a full jetpack fuel tank. Movement is what separates Real Battle from a flat side-scrolling shooter -- holding jump in the air fires your jetpack instead of just letting you fall, so fights genuinely happen in full vertical space, not just side to side.
Respawns come with a couple of seconds of flashing spawn protection -- use that window to get your bearings and reposition, not to immediately push back into the fight that killed you.
A sniper rifle's scope has multiple zoom levels -- tap the zoom control repeatedly to step further in, and the tightest zoom is also the most accurate, trading field of view for pinpoint precision on distant targets.
Is Real Battle free to play?
Yes. Real Battle is free to play in your browser at rivalpit.com/realbattle/ -- it does require a free RivalPit account, since it's the one game on the site where your kills and match history are saved to a real profile instead of staying anonymous.
Can I play against real people, or only bots?
Both. Practice mode is bots-only for warming up, but Free For All and Team Deathmatch can be played online against real players through Quick Match or a room code you share with friends, or filled out with AI bots on four difficulty levels if you're short a player.
How does the jetpack work?
Holding your jump control while airborne fires the jetpack instead of just letting you fall, using up your fuel bar. Managing fuel well lets you contest high ground and dodge incoming fire instead of getting boxed in below.
What weapons can I find in a match?
You start with the Scout 9 pistol. Weapon crates around each arena spawn stronger guns -- the auto-fire Hornet SMG and Ranger AR, the six-shot Mauler shotgun, the four-round Longshot sniper rifle, the single-shot Boomer RPG with splash damage, the dual-wielded Akimbo Vipers, and the 60-round Widow LMG.
What arenas can I play on?
Six so far: Jungle Ruins, Volcano Forge, Skyline Facility, Desert Outpost, Frost Summit, and Wreck Bay, each with its own layout of platforms, cover, and weapon crate spots.
What happens when I get a kill streak?
Real Battle calls out streaks as you rack up kills without dying -- reach 5 kills in a row and you're on a "Killing Spree," reach 8 and you're "Unstoppable." Your best streak of the match also shows up as an award on the results screen.
Real Battle requires a free RivalPit account so your callsign, kills, and match history are actually saved — not lost the moment you close the tab.
