Dungeon Depths is a turn-based 2-4 player co-op dungeon crawler on RivalPit. Explore infinite, procedurally generated floors together on a 15x11 grid, fight doodled monsters, grab treasure, and find the stairs before your party runs out of HP.
Everyone shares one pool of danger: your party starts each run at 100 HP with 3 monsters wandering the first floor, and every floor after that adds more monsters (up to 9 at once) that also hit harder as you go deeper -- there's no ceiling on how far a determined party can push.
Don't rush past treasure tiles -- a 25 HP heal before a tough floor is often worth the extra steps it costs you.
Since monsters only aggro within about 5 tiles, you can sometimes route around a dangerous cluster entirely instead of fighting through it -- picking your fights matters more than winning every one.
Is Dungeon Depths free to play?
Yes. Dungeon Depths is completely free to play in your browser at rivalpit.com/dungeondepths/, no download, install, or account required.
Is Dungeon Depths co-op or competitive?
Co-op. All 2-4 players share one party and work together to survive as many floors as possible -- there's no player-vs-player element.
How many floors are there?
Dungeon Depths has no fixed ending -- floors generate endlessly and get progressively harder, so the real challenge is seeing how deep your party can go.
How much HP does the party start with, and how does healing work?
The shared party starts at 100 HP. Each floor has 2 treasure tiles that heal 25 HP when you walk over them, so finding and using treasure is your main way to recover between fights.
Do monsters chase you across the whole floor?
No. Monsters only notice and start chasing your party once you're within about 5 tiles of them -- stay farther away than that and they'll stay put, which lets you route around dangerous clusters.
