🃏 About Doodle Duel Cards

Doodle Duel Cards is an original hand-drawn trading-card duel game on RivalPit. Build board presence with doodled creatures, blast your rival with spells, and bring their HP from 20 down to 0 first.

The full card pool is small and readable on purpose -- 9 creatures ranging from the 1-mana Pip and Scout up to the 6-mana Dragon, plus 3 spells (Spark, Fireball, and the board-swinging Heal) -- so a new player can learn what every card in the deck does within a couple of matches, rather than needing to memorize a huge set. Both duelists build from an identical 20-card deck, shuffled independently, so no one starts with a better hand of cards to choose from.

How to Play

  1. Both players start at 20 HP with a 3-card hand, drawn from an identical 20-card deck shuffled independently each match.
  2. Every turn your max mana goes up by 1 (capped at 8), and you draw a card.
  3. Play creatures to build your board, or cast spells -- Spark, Fireball, and Heal -- on a target creature or straight at your opponent's face.
  4. Creatures can attack enemy creatures or attack face once they're no longer summoning-sick.
  5. Weigh creature stats against their mana cost -- a cheap Raider (2 mana, 3 attack, 2 HP) trades aggressively, while a Golem (5 mana, 5 attack, 7 HP) is built to survive multiple hits.
  6. First player to reduce their opponent to 0 HP wins the duel.

Don't dump your whole hand early -- holding a removal spell for their biggest threat usually wins the trade. Board position matters too: a wide board of small creatures can out-trade a single big one if your rival doesn't have a sweeper spell in hand, so don't be afraid to commit several cheap creatures instead of waiting for the perfect big play.
